Eco-Theatre
Through his work with The Greenhouse, Oli has been recognised as one of the leading eco-theatre makers in the UK. Statistically, the vast majority of the British population are aware the climate is changing, and are aware this is mostly caused by human activity. Yet very few people feel their actions can have an impact on the impending crisis.
This demonstrates a significant knowledge-action gap. Oli’s work bridges this gap – rather than seeking to educate about climate change, his work helps audiences build personal emotional connections with the natural world through storytelling.
In terms of his practice, he integrates the natural world wherever possible – often by rehearsing and performing outside. He also pursues a zero-waste and carbon-neutral practice across all of his work.
Oli has supported numerous organisations – in the arts and beyond – develop more sustainable practices too. If you’d like to speak to him about getting support in this area, get in touch using the contact form below.
