Oli also offers experience in academia. He holds a First Class MA (hons) in English Literature and Modern History from the University of St Andrews, graduating as the winner of the Principal’s Medal – awarded to two students in each graduating year for outstanding endeavour and achievement.

Since founding The Greenhouse, he has developed significant expertise in eco-theatre, both in theory and in practice. He has been invited to lecture and lead workshops on the subject at a range of the UK’s leading universities, including Oxford, Warwick, York, and many others.

Recently, Oli worked with Dr Ganga Shreedhar to collect data for a paper demonstrating the impact that performance and storytelling has on individual climate action. He hopes to build on this work to demonstrate more clearly the power of theatre and performance in climate change debates.
